Rodríguez, Vergara & Cía. came into being as a Law Firm in the year 1990 when Rodríguez Watkins y Vergara Abogados was formed. Up to that time, the office was fundamentally constituted only by the person who is today its principal partner, Pablo Rodríguez, who individually exercised the profession with the collaboration of independent external attorneys who supported his activities.

Pablo Rodríguez, together with Pedro Pablo Vergara, who up to that date worked as an attorney for a financial institution in Santiago, formed a Law Firm, that is, a professional organization made up by several attorneys that specialized in civil and commercial litigation. Once the firm was formed, Hugo Rosende Álvarez was incorporated as a partner. In 1995, Fernando José Rabat began to provide services as a law Clerk that, upon receiving his law degree, was incorporated into the Firm and later became a partner.

Numerous and, today, well-known attorneys have provided services for this office in the capacity of law clerks and assistants before receiving their law degrees.

Associate attorneys, who have broad experience and who permanently assist the partners with their work also work are also members of the Firm.
